Weaknesses and Our Own, White Knights

It isn't until we've been shown our greatest weakness that we face it;
we see ourselves at our most vulnerable, and have to make a choice.

Do we turn away and try to pretend it doesn't exist?
Or do we choose to find ways to get to know that weakness, intimately?
What it is, and what it does; why it bares that proverbial heel, and it's teeth?
What about it that threatens that soft, tender spot and concerns us so?
How it is possible to find a way to neutralize that threat, and even come to peace with it?

How is it we come to greater strength
by acting with courage when facing our greatest weakness?
We learn it; understand it;
accept it as our friend and even gifted opportunity;
and then find a way to set ourselves free;
thus being our own, white knight and rescuer.

At least until another weakness comes along.

        That's the way I've often lived it. Experiences may vary.

        Better days ahead, my friends!
