So... perhaps a pause for reflection as I see the January sun filtering through the curtains of my living room window...Goodness, what a winter this has been, so far! Typically not my favorite time of year, this winter has definitely showed its colors loud and proud!
However, I can also add... it has had some surprisingly wonderful moments so far, too. So for that, I must say that the tapestry of these cold, dark months has been highlighted with bright, silver and gold threads, drawing out the beauty and letting the darkness slip into the role of contrasting shadows.
That is the way life should always be, is it not? To see the full beauty of our lives' pictures, and the way each and every experience fits into a greater whole?
I'm trying.
