Hello my friends. I'm just taking a moment to think out a few things, so I hope you don't mind if I take you with me? Well, I suppose if you do, you can just stop reading, and no harm done!
I've been around a while, and learned a few things along the way. I believe one should leave this world a bit more, for the moment shared with it; perhaps it's time I try.

I Write... Because...
This week, I'm going to write about... my writing. I'd more or less been floating around a topic for this week's post, and came across something which resonated so purely with me, it dropped all the other thoughts I'd had, and had me riveted. This post is unlikely to be as riveting as her message was to me, but it might at least touch someone, in some way, hopefully positive, and that is all it is meant to be. My heart speaking to someone else's. So, here we go.

A Little Try for Gratitude Couldn't Hurt Too Much!
Hello, my friends! This week I'm going to try to prove myself as not being a hypocrite. Actually, I say that because I sometimes feel like one, but really, I think I'm just proving that I know it is often easier said than done!

Well, That Was Unexpected!
This was something I was going to post to those in my more personal life, elsewhere, and thought I might as well share it here, and then share this, there. I've been feeling so brain dead lately, and I wrote this whole, freakin' thing, so why not? Might as well know me for me, World! lol!So, here we go...

The Difference, in this World of Insanity and Chaos
This past week, I had an interesting question come to me, and I found it to be such a powerful line of thinking, I wanted to share some of my thoughts on it. Generally, I stay away from most topics of current events, but we'll see where this goes.

Still Thinking, Therefore Still Being, I Suppose?
We're going to be doing things a bit differently this week, my friends. Whether we like it or not!
Due to some circumstances out of my control, I was unable to solidify permission to use information for the post I'd been preparing, so I've been left to wander the archives, once again. But this time, I found one on which I'd like to comment, as well, so here we go: a post about a post!

Excitement, Commitment, and Infinite Potential!
Hey, look! It's a post! I've something to share, for once! Let's hope it's something worthy of reading. I know it's something I've found worthy of contemplating, this week, and I can't help but think I'm not the only person who ever has this experience, so hopefully we can all be better, for the sharing, hmm?

Working on Standing Up to Be Counted!
Some perspective to be added to that expressed all across the 'net in behalf of those who need others to understand. Not chewing anyone out, nor trying to give tickets to any kind of guilt trip; just trying to do my part to help spread understanding, empathy and compassion to this world. As usual, I've no idea what will be falling out of my head and into this post, but whatever it will be, I hope someone can benefit from it.

Revisiting That Special Request
My friends, I have to admit, the response to that last, blog post was absolutely phenomenal, and unexpected! I had no idea so many people would respond in such powerful, positive and understanding ways, publicly and privately!
When I discussed the post with the friend who originally inspired it, they had some comments which, when combined with some I received from others, made me realize a follow-up post needed to be made. This made deciding on a post topic for this week rather simple, even if the composing of the post has not been so easy! Once again, I hope I do justice to those whose lives and hearts were touched by the things covered in that last post.

A Very Special Request
I'll warn you, now... this post will cover a rather serious, mental health topic, but one which is evidently, very much needed, and often gets overlooked, but this post may not be suitable for every reader.
For those who are struggling, right now, there may be some triggers for you, and you may want to consider giving yourself some time before reading it, if you read it at all, hopefully in a time it won't be so difficult.
For those who love someone who has struggled, whether or not they are in some semblance of recovery, you may want to seriously consider reading it as a way to possibly find some answers. I don't promise you'll find the ones you need, but it might open you to some ideas, anyway.

Another Year, Grateful for Another Post Accomplished
This week's quote is going to be somewhat unusual for me, my friends. I typically do not like to give such significant placement to a quote, but as I contemplated the theme of this week's post, it sort of just came together, a step at a time, and felt right. So, here's what you get, like it or not! ;)

Falling into The Place of Silent Music
Taking yet a different tack, this week, my friends.I've been learning some interesting facts about mindfulness and meditation, lately. I was skeptical, I admit - but I've tried to be open-minded, because centuries of practice by billions of people couldn't really be totally without merit, right? So, after a class which I'd not expected to teach some mindfulness meditations, I began to test it out and see which kinds worked and how to make them work for me.

Perpetual Monsters and Chronic Demons
I've been debating about whether or not it would be better to skip another sensitive topic, altogether. Actually, I've been debating it since I began the PB Project! I know I did post along this line a while back, but mostly we're just gonna move on, from here. That is the best way to keep moving forward, yes?

Permission to Communicate
When was the last time you told someone, "No," when something was asked, requested, or even demanded of you? When was the last time you said, "Yes," even though you secretly wished that you could say, "No"?
In other words, have you ever not said or done something,
because you were afraid of the consequences, such as rejection or disapproval?
You wouldn't be the first. But perhaps we can find a way to fix that.

The Genuine Troubles of Heartaches and Battle Scars
The premise of the PB Project has been, from the very beginning, that we all have our own challenges, and yet we all have commonalities in our experience. Love, joy, fear, heartache, pain; all the emotions, thoughts, vulnerabilities and quirks that make us human, may be somewhat different in details, but make us all similar in one way or another. Even when we are strangers to one another, we have bits and pieces that can connect us and help us feel a part of something bigger. Our hearts yearn for this, as humans are communal creatures for a reason. It is in our DNA to crave the safety and security that can come from being connected to other people.

A Sum of All the Parts. All of Them.
There are a very few people whom I've told this, directly, but... I must admit, those people deserve the gratitude of anyone whose life as been positively affected in any way by my existence. Because it is thanks to those people that I still remain in existence here in life, and if anyone is glad I'm around, then they need to be glad those few people have helped keep me around.
Hmm... this hasn't been intended as a heavy post... but surprises do happen. I could blame it on a very taxing week; I guess we'll have to see what falls out of my head, hmm?

Choosing Your Own Challenge of Courage and Change
I would like to start with a truth, this week. I usually throw a truth or two into the mix, at some point, but this time, I want to start with one that will set the stage for whatever it is that will come after the page break. An important one, and somewhat multi-faceted.The truth: I am not good with change.

Life's Renewal in the Flow of Change
Here in my little corner of the world, Spring is having a bit of a bumpy start, but I see the life around me trying to renew itself, and it doesn't matter what the weather tries to throw at it; the life continues trying to grow and continue with its tasks of existence. I do realize in other corners of the world, the changes grow colder, which in and of itself is still life moving through its cycles, if only taking a few moments to rest and catch its breath.So... the constant of change continues.
And it continues in every life, one way or another.
