Sometimes I struggle as one who serves in the "inspirational" genre, especially on social media. It can be hard to be a struggling empath with a quirky, sometimes sarcastic and/or dark sense of humor when trying to balance honesty, inspiration, light, and syrup: oh those memes, quotes, misquotes, plagiarism, and one of the worst: cliches!
I've been around a while, and learned a few things along the way. I believe one should leave this world a bit more, for the moment shared with it; perhaps it's time I try.

I'm Grateful That's All You Have!
Okay... so I'd not exactly planned to have this blog reflect my personal journey, so much, but it appears that is where my creative powers have gone, and so I can only follow their lead. My mind is interesting, that way: it seems to want to express what it wants to express, and anything else won't get shared! So I guess you get to know me a little better!

The Strength that is Weakness
Been a bit since I was able to post, though I've been sharing some posts from the archives on the PB Facebook Community Page. Been working on recovering from the consequences of a clash between a flu bug and a distracted immune system! But hopefully I'm back, and since I've had some interesting observations, lately, and though they do come up from time to time, I thought I'd share some insights from my own perspective.

Worthwhile, Broken, Butterfly Wings, and Other Things
I'm not sure how to describe this week's post, actually. It could be seen as part macabre, and part inspiration, perhaps? Don't worry, though...I have young friends who read this blog, so I'm going to do my best to keep it in the spirit of the PB Project in general. It's just that I found this quote and it has been nudging me for ages, begging to be used, and I've not been giving it its due, so...here we go.
No idea what I'll be writing after this, but hopefully it will be worth reading!

Dancing to the Beat of My Own Heart Strings!
Once again, I'm sitting here feeling a bit torn. On the one hand, February is, in my part of the world, traditionally celebrated (at least the first half) as a month for love. I'm not sure why we seem to have to have a theme for each month, but it appears that love is the theme for February.
So what to do? Go with it, or rebel? *sigh* Choices, choices...

Thanks, but It's Complicated
Okay, here's how my mind works...it's wordy, and it's honest!
We've been discussing gratitude for what, 2 months now, on the PB Facebook Community Page? And we've been doing it in random bursts, all year long! So what happens today?

All That Glimmers Might Be a Silver Lining!
I don't read ahead in the book for the upcoming sections of my personal challenge, which is why I didn't realize that there would be another section dedicated to happiness. Of course, having another chapter - or a few more - are certainly welcome! After all, we can use all the happiness we can get, right?Thursday, October 2, 2014
A Pause...To Breathe, Rest, Reflect, and Renew
Since I've pretty much caught up on what I wanted to do at the moment, and being my typically-stubborn self when it comes to actually sleeping when my body's time zone is doing so, my thoughts turned to writing a post that wasn't just another Monday post - how novel! - and since my thoughts have lately been about some of the following, I figured I'd let those who are following this, follow along, as I follow up on the following.

Gratitude for Gratitude Regarding Gratitude!
I'm really grateful for this week's topic, my friends! In fact, it comes with such perfect timing, I actually laughed when I opened my copy of "Motivational Mondays" for this week's challenge and read the section! Why is that, you ask?...Friday, July 4, 2014
It's Just a Matter of Life and Death...Chill Out.
I'm not one to deny reality; it's part of the foundation of this Project.
...So here's some, for you. It isn't pretty, but it is real.
