I've been around a while, and learned a few things along the way. I believe one should leave this world a bit more, for the moment shared with it; perhaps it's time I try.

A Meta Post about not Posting... Posted!
Lately, I've realized that I spend a lot of time thinking I need to get a blog post done and posted, but it seems like even when I have the time or ability to focus, it's hard to rally up the energy to push on ahead and find the words that need to happen to make that happen! If you've been following the PB Community Facebook Page for a relatively significant amount of time, you'll have noticed I've slowed in my pursuits there over the past year or so, as well. Let's see if I actually get this one done and posted!

An Apologetic Courage and a Piece of the Madness
Another personal story post for you, related to my ongoing journey with the health-related mess. I'm aware that some people want only to be engaged with the PB Project's more neutral features, without personal details, and that is perfectly okay with me! Hence the warning. If you want to continue, you're very much my guest.

Ashes of the Past and Moving Forward
This is one of those posts gleaned from something I'd shared elsewhere this past week, which got me thinking, and I thought I'd share the insights here, too. I guess it mattered enough to me that I keep it around to look at and read it later. So, here you are to read, too, if you like.

Weaknesses and Our Own, White Knights
It isn't until we've been shown our greatest weakness that we face it;
we see ourselves at our most vulnerable, and have to make a choice.

Forcing the Force of Forced Gratitude
Forced gratitude.
Sometimes just taking energy we feel like we don't have
and forcing ourselves to look at things differently can save our sanity....

A Bittersweet Break for a Day
Hello my friends. I'm just taking a moment to think out a few things, so I hope you don't mind if I take you with me? Well, I suppose if you do, you can just stop reading, and no harm done!

Endure to Enlighten the Shadows We Traverse...Someday
I know, I've been a little dry on the posts, lately. My apologies, but life happens, and sometimes we just don't have it in us to maintain the steady rhythm, you know? Since the PB Project has been all about trying to help us all know that we are not alone in what we face, even if what we each face is not the same, I'm just going to let you know that part of that has been about trying to find ways to give self-care during a rather rough patch, these past months. I've explained that on the PB Community Facebook Page, but not as much for you. So there you go.

A Gnarled Bit of Wood
I have the wonderful opportunity to be able to serve as a volunteer at a local hospital, a few hours, once a week. This week, volunteering was exhausting, but always nice to get out and do it. While there, I had a couple of really interesting conversations, with some odd sorts of realizations!

In Review, and in Preview
Something a little different this week. I posted this elsewhere in my little world, but I felt like it was something worth sharing here, so I'm going to do it, maybe with slight differences.

I Write... Because...
This week, I'm going to write about... my writing. I'd more or less been floating around a topic for this week's post, and came across something which resonated so purely with me, it dropped all the other thoughts I'd had, and had me riveted. This post is unlikely to be as riveting as her message was to me, but it might at least touch someone, in some way, hopefully positive, and that is all it is meant to be. My heart speaking to someone else's. So, here we go.

It's Okay.
Okay, so maybe it all isn't really okay. But that's okay, too.
Maybe just take some slow, deep breaths while you read this post,
and let it help you come back to center.
You might just found it was just what you needed.
You wouldn't be the only one, I promise.

Bringing to Life a Survivor's Spirit
This week, my friends, we're going to delve into something I happen to find a huge part of my life, in various ways, and hopefully by my sharing that, you'll benefit in some way. I know I pretty much say that every week, but that just means that the intent is still there. So there.

Still Thinking, Therefore Still Being, I Suppose?
We're going to be doing things a bit differently this week, my friends. Whether we like it or not!
Due to some circumstances out of my control, I was unable to solidify permission to use information for the post I'd been preparing, so I've been left to wander the archives, once again. But this time, I found one on which I'd like to comment, as well, so here we go: a post about a post!

Excitement, Commitment, and Infinite Potential!
Hey, look! It's a post! I've something to share, for once! Let's hope it's something worthy of reading. I know it's something I've found worthy of contemplating, this week, and I can't help but think I'm not the only person who ever has this experience, so hopefully we can all be better, for the sharing, hmm?

Working on Standing Up to Be Counted!
Some perspective to be added to that expressed all across the 'net in behalf of those who need others to understand. Not chewing anyone out, nor trying to give tickets to any kind of guilt trip; just trying to do my part to help spread understanding, empathy and compassion to this world. As usual, I've no idea what will be falling out of my head and into this post, but whatever it will be, I hope someone can benefit from it.

The Beauty in the Heart of Life
What does the heart contain, which allows it to create; and what's more, to create beauty? Or even to simply appreciate beauty? What is within us that allows it to reside, there, and to come out of us?
Yup. That is the question. Well, a few of them. Hopefully you'll see what I mean.

Perhaps a Step Toward Reason?
The other day, I came across a blog post called, "Everything Doesn't Happen For A Reason", by Tim Laurence, shared on Facebook by the Page, "A Beautiful Mess Inside". It was so powerful, at the time in my miserably-insomniac state, I was overcome by tears and, "Yes!!!" moments. It had me immediately signing up for his e-newsletters, because as Gayle at that Page said, "I want to read everything he has ever written".

Choices, Challenges, Regrets and Creating Joy
So...today is another day. Some of the same challenges remain from yesterday, and the fact is, some will carry over into tomorrow. Some will even stay with us the rest of our lives.
This is another of the not light nor *warm-fuzzy* posts, but it is one that I feel needs to be said. Hopefully we'll be able to return to those relatively soon, though! In fact, I've not even a quote this week, but that's more because I'm tired and don't want to search for one that fits, than that there isn't one out there. Pardon my swerving from habit. ;)
