Chrysalises and Ashes in the River of Change

Recently, I found a quote that has had me thinking, and I wanted to share it with you.
Will you value it?  I have no idea.  It might totally bore you.  But hey, at least it entertained me!

Ashes of the Past and Moving Forward

This is one of those posts gleaned from something I'd shared elsewhere this past week, which got me thinking, and I thought I'd share the insights here, too.  I guess it mattered enough to me that I keep it around to look at and read it later.  So, here you are to read, too, if you like.

Weaknesses and Our Own, White Knights

It isn't until we've been shown our greatest weakness that we face it;
we see ourselves at our most vulnerable, and have to make a choice.

The Story of My Truth, and Defying the Ending

I'm going to share another something I recently shared with some of my personal folks, with some modifications.  This might or might not sound kinda lame to you.  But it's my truth.  So be it.

Well, That Was Unexpected!

This was something I was going to post to those in my more personal life, elsewhere, and thought I might as well share it here, and then share this, there.  I've been feeling so brain dead lately, and I wrote this whole, freakin' thing, so why not?  Might as well know me for me, World! lol!

        So, here we go...

Another Year, Grateful for Another Post Accomplished

This week's quote is going to be somewhat unusual for me, my friends.  I typically do not like to give such significant placement to a quote, but as I contemplated the theme of this week's post, it sort of just came together, a step at a time, and felt right.  So, here's what you get, like it or not! ;)

The Freedom to Be Better

I've an interesting topic this week, my friends.  At least, I think it is.  Perhaps I should preface each one that way, since it's better promotion than starting off with, "Well, sorry, but this is another boring post."  But I was talking to a friend about choosing a topic for this week, and this friend suggested using the subject of our little chat we had been having.  Of course it was an interesting conversation, or I wouldn't have chosen it, nor would I have prefaced the post this way.  Ahem.

Permission to Communicate

When was the last time you told someone, "No," when something was asked, requested, or even demanded of you?  When was the last time you said, "Yes," even though you secretly wished that you could say, "No"?
In other words, have you ever not said or done something,
because you were afraid of the consequences, such as rejection or disapproval?
You wouldn't be the first.  But perhaps we can find a way to fix that.

Worthwhile, Broken, Butterfly Wings, and Other Things

I'm not sure how to describe this week's post, actually.  It could be seen as part macabre, and part inspiration, perhaps?  Don't worry, though...I have young friends who read this blog, so I'm going to do my best to keep it in the spirit of the PB Project in general.  It's just that I found this quote and it has been nudging me for ages, begging to be used, and I've not been giving it its due, so...here we go.

No idea what I'll be writing after this, but hopefully it will be worth reading!

Life's Renewal in the Flow of Change

Here in my little corner of the world, Spring is having a bit of a bumpy start, but I see the life around me trying to renew itself, and it doesn't matter what the weather tries to throw at it; the life continues trying to grow and continue with its tasks of existence.  I do realize in other corners of the world, the changes grow colder, which in and of itself is still life moving through its cycles, if only taking a few moments to rest and catch its breath.

So... the constant of change continues.

And it continues in every life, one way or another.

Don't Forget to Use Your Rear-View Mirror!

Perhaps I'm doing this, and the last post, in the wrong order.
I probably realized that when I made the list -
I skipped this topic on purpose, then decided to go back.

Why, you might ask?

What I Want to Be, Every Day, for the Rest of My Life

Sometimes it's nice to have no sense of clearly-defined structure for this blog.  Because honestly, who wants to be tied down to superficial rules based on false pretenses about goals and processes, anyway?  I mean, that sentence alone is almost painfully heavy!  By the end of this month, I'll have finished the personal challenge I made for myself, having only missed one week, that I can remember, and that one was with special circumstances. Otherwise, I've been true to my goal and... wow!  How on earth did I do that? lol!

Okay...I started this post before I realized what this week's section of Christine's book actually is.  I looked at the section, re-read what I just said to start, and smirked.  And why not? Hah!

It's About Time!

This past week kinda lost me for a bit...somehow.  I'm not sure where I was when it flew by, but alas, it is gone, and here we are, facing a new one!  So...welcome to Monday, my friends!

Oh, to Be Free, to Be Free to Be Me!

If I had begun these "Motivational Mondays" posts the very first week of the year, this week's quote and question, so generously provided by Christine Morgan in her book of that name, would have fallen right around a time when it was a particularly perfectly-timed post (ah...love alliteration)!  Oddly enough, life doesn't always run so perfectly smooth, so we do the best we can with what we have.

Actually, that's pretty much the point of this blog...so perhaps it was a perfect example, after all. ;)
