        You know, there are times I stare at the screen, finding or thinking something I'd like to share with the people I love, but I just don't have the mental, emotional, nor physical strength and energy to deal with how social media affects people sometimes; including people I love.

        Sometimes I struggle as one who serves in the "inspirational" genre, especially on social media.  It can be hard to be a struggling empath with a quirky, sometimes sarcastic and/or dark sense of humor when trying to balance honesty, inspiration, light, and syrup: oh those memes, quotes, misquotes, plagiarism, and one of the worst: cliches!

        Ever have those times when your internal dialogue runs in rhyme?  I mean, seriously: you're going around, doing your thing, and everything you think just happens to be some form of rhyming pattern?

Positive Spins and Nudgings of Change

        A couple of weeks ago I pinned an archived post to the top of the PB Facebook Community Page, again, and the experience I had while searching for it had me thinking of something which I ended up sharing along with the actual, shared link.  After typing out that whole thing, I realized it would just as well work for a blog post, but I was too tired to try to make that work right then, so I decided to just copy it, paste it into a new post on the blog, wiggle around with it, and ta da!  New post! Then last week happened, and I pushed it off again, and this week I'm just gonna do it!  With slight apologies to those who might remember much of it.  Here's how it went:

Perfection in the Personal Paradox

        Hello, again.  I promise I'm still around, and working toward progress.  You'd be surprised at how many drafts from over the years I have sitting there, started but not feeling "right".  But that actually plays well with the idea that I've thought to share for this week.  Let's see if it gets out for you to read!

        It's a little raw, just so you know.  But that's how it's been, lately, and what falls out of my mind is usually filtered through whatever is on it at the time.  Pretty sure that's the way it works for a lot of things, for a lot of people.  Anyway, here we go.

        This past week, I had an interesting question come to me, and I found it to be such a powerful line of thinking, I wanted to share some of my thoughts on it.  Generally, I stay away from most topics of current events, but we'll see where this goes.

Achieving Success the Ordinary, Imperfect Way

        These past, few weeks, I've been spending time with my memories, feelings and thoughts about a life remembered; having a few experiences connecting my heart and mind to the imperfections of the present; and attempting to focus my dreams and goals toward an unpredictable future, as the anniversary of my birth looms near!  It's been a rather full month!

The Freedom to Be Better

        I've an interesting topic this week, my friends.  At least, I think it is.  Perhaps I should preface each one that way, since it's better promotion than starting off with, "Well, sorry, but this is another boring post."  But I was talking to a friend about choosing a topic for this week, and this friend suggested using the subject of our little chat we had been having.  Of course it was an interesting conversation, or I wouldn't have chosen it, nor would I have prefaced the post this way.  Ahem.

        This week's post is going to be a bit unusual, because my brain needs a clean restart and unfortunately those don't easily come along every day, if you're not actually a computer.  Therefore, I'm just going to post something a little more fluffy and see if that allows my brain to do whatever it is that it needs to do.

Flash Mobs and Missing Moms

        Sometimes that ever-mysterious "they" have said, that when you miss someone who isn't there anymore, you can still talk to them.  Whether or not you believe in the mystical or other forms of believing, sometimes it does feel good to just let go of the obvious and just open your heart to the abyss.

So, here I go, demonstrating what I mean, to the abyss of the internet.
